That Ooma VoIP phone box has another exasperating user interface (Fig. 7). Like modern hip and edgy designs, nothing is clearly written to tell you how to use it. Worse yet, it has hair-trigger touch buttons, so if you even brush near them, the phone goes off into some obscure function or mode. I routinely erase messages accidentally.
